RAF SWINDERBY Full of beasts who made life hell for the poor sods who were sent there to undertake Initial Recruit Training (me included). Most recruits had ambivalent feelings about their time whilst undergoing training but, with the benefit of many years of hindsight, feel that it had quite an impact upon them as people; positive, that is!
Here we have an 80-page History together with handbooks from 1972 & 1973. Quality of the handbooks could be better, but all is legible and extremely memory-provoking.
